Aubrey Streit Krug

I’m a writer and teacher in the environmental humanities who studies stories of relationships between humans and plants. I’m currently the director of Ecosphere Studies at The Land Institute in Salina, Kansas. I earned my PhD in English (American U.S. & Indigenous literature) and Great Plains Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I’m also a student of the Omaha language. I like collaborating on educational, interdisciplinary projects that build knowledge across communities and cultures.
